Helen had decided that she wanted to get some cute, fluffy sheep as pets. It was practical as we could get some for ourselves and see how they are and in the future we could sell the offspring as pets as a supplementary income. She decided to go Silvernose sheep. These are cross-breeds from a Valais Blacknose and a Greyfaced Dartmoor.
Helen and I went on a road trip to Builth Wells to pick up Petra our new lamb. So is so fluffy and cute. It is a 3 hour round trip so a nice day out. When we picked her up she would not stop making a noise. I get it, away from her friends and family, we also thought she may be hungry (i can relate). We set off and in all honesty, she was great. She was loud when she did speak…but that was only when we were going around a bend or braking.
She settled in SUPER well. She still loves to talk..and eat…so she definitely belongs here with us now!
