With a walk booked for 10, we went to Tregurnog first to give water to the ewe lambs, check and feed the chickens and check the rams. Me and Skye checked the rams and had a look at the state of the fenceline (neighbour’s responsibly) After that we dropped Skye off and I drove us to Garth Hall. Me: what do we know about this morning’s visitors? Josh: both doctors. Me : ooh ! While we were parked up in the lay-by, we could hear a siren on the bypass. Josh: that’s them coming now! 😂
We had a lovely time with them and they enjoyed meeting all the alpacas. They even helped us check Looby Loo and Hennessey. Arwen was particularly cwtchy this morning as well. Other hits were Elsie and the swing. I also directed them to the Etsy shop because they were interested in the products made from our fleeces. It was home for a quick lunch and then back for a visit.
I went as quickly as I could with my cup of tea in a lidded cup but the visitors were they before me. I was apologetic and they were lovely about it. We had a great afternoon it’s just a shame about the weather. I had my concerns that the girls wouldn’t want to hand feed again. Silly me, the only one that didn’t come was Arwen! Eden ate like she hadn’t eaten in months rather than two hours ago. She brought the gorgeous Curnunnos with her as well. He is a little star. Betty Boo had been rolling in the dust but due to the rain was now coated in mud and Possum was standing in the food trough. All typical alpaca behaviour.
We walked up in the rain and I promised them that they could feed Elsie but I couldn’t find her 🤦♀️ I think she was sheltering from the rain. I had a lovely day meeting everyone, I think that both lots of visitors enjoyed meeting the alpacas. We’ve already had a glowing review from Ange and she managed to get a good photo of Olaf which is perfecf as she is an Olaf fan 😁
